Legalize Crack

.
.....The most important reason crack cocaine should be made legal, is personal liberty. We should be free to use and enjoy any substance we choose. For many people, crack cocaine is seen as one of life’s little pleasures. Some say crack is a dangerous substance. Though, many of those people think it’s perfectly fine for cigarettes and alcohol to be legal. Deaths from these substances vastly outnumber those for crack cocaine. Most crack deaths occur from chemicals and toxic substances being added to the pure crack. If crack was legalized and regulated, a more pure form would be inexpensively and widely marketed. Crack overdose could be minimized by providing crack cocaine education in the public schools.
.....Crack cocaine also provides many health benefits. Obesity has been recognized as one of the greatest health risks in America. Crack greatly reduces a person’s appetite and can be smoked during lunch, in place of a McDonald’s value meal. Crack is also a great anesthetic and can reduce the feeling of nausea in AIDS and cancer patients. Not that it makes the nausea go away, but when you’re high on crack, who cares.
.....The war on drugs has been a huge drain on our nation’s budget. Billions of dollars each year are wasted, trying to stop the importation of cocaine. This money could be better spent on green jobs which will save the planet from extinction. Besides, the sale of crack will be taxed like other goods, the proceeds of which can be used for medical care for the elderly.
.....Imagine a world where the prisons are practically empty because young men and women aren’t being incarcerated for crack dealing or use. Imagine the backlogged courts being freed to try cases involving murder and hate crimes. Too many of our youth are having their lives ripped away from them, just because they wanted to enjoy a little euphoria in a world filled with war and poverty. The choice must be made. Do we want a society living in fear of drug gangs and cartels, or do we want to live in a country where we are free to get high?

All Drugs should be Legalized. The War on Drugs is a Loosing ordeal for everyone.
People use drugs when they are illegal, and when they are Legal. No Difference.
If they are Legal, the Stigma, is gone, and people would seek treatment, without fear of the losing respect from Family, and Friends.
They would not have any Legal ramifications.
